Tokenization (English)

by kuopassa, Finland, Thursday, August 13, 2020, 03:03 ()

Tokenization for BSV is lagging behind other competing projects, such as Ethereum, and more recently Bitcoin Cash as well. (Bitcoin Cash has a service called Mint where new tokens can be created.)

If someone would like tokenize something with BSV, they probably would head to Google and find www.tokenized.com. That's a promising service, yet it's still work in progress, and it's probably meant for big businesses instead of, for example, indie game developers.

To create new tokens, or basically smart contracts, on Bitcoin SV, one is forced to tinker with sCrypt... And that's like wanting to eat an omelette, but forced to create the universe first.

So this is the million-dollar business idea: build an easy way to create new tokens on BSV. 🎯

Tokenization intensifies with USDC

This is perhaps a giant leap for Bitcoin SV, as the "superwallet" RelayX announced:

"USD Coin comes to Bitcoin SV; Introducing wrapped USDC by RelayX"

That means a stablecoin (USDC) will be available for Bitcoin SV. RelayX users can swap BSV for USDC, and vice versa. 😊
